It is officially fall here in Southern California and while the sunshine is still bright and the leaves may not be changing color, we have many exciting updates to share as we jump into the rest of 2025! 

The Legacy Bible Foundation (LBF) was created to share the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the generosity of donors, LBF has distributed over 55,000 free Bibles worldwide. 

Over the past few months, LBF was able to distribute thousands of Bibles in Africa, partnering with trusted local ministries to equip pastors and churches with biblical training and resources.

Coming in 2026! 

At the beginning of 2025, we launched a survey where YOU decided which edition of the to be created next. And thanks to your votes, the LSB Handy Size Inside Column Reference was born!

As we look ahead, we have already begun research and development for our 2026 LSB releases, drawing from the insights you shared with us. Here’s a brief sneak peek teaser at what’s in progress:

• New Layout: Design work has begun on the runner-up layout from the 2025 survey—an edition designed with careful attention to readability and usability.

• New Study Bible: We have completed work on a new Study Bible—the LSB Shepherd’s Bible—created to serve and strengthen the global church with a clear, biblical vision for ministry. Preorders will begin in December 2025, set to release February 2026.

Expanded Binding and Color Options: By popular request, several of our current editions will be available in additional colors and unique materials, while maintaining the same high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

2026 LSB Digital Initiative

We believe that the Word of God is one of the greatest treasures God has given to humanity. As a Bible publisher, it is our joy to help believers echo the psalmist’s cry, “Oh how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day” (Psalm 119:97). To deepen that love for Scripture, we are currently in the testing and development stages of our 2026 LSB Digital Initiative, set to launch by January 1st 2026. This project includes three parts:

1. The LSB Reference Tagger – A simple tool that automatically links Scripture references, enabling readers to view verses instantly. Ideal for church websites and blogs that seek to point visitors to the Word. This encourages readers to be like the noble Bereans, who always made a practice to discern all things by always returning to the Scriptures (Acts 17).

2. Two LSB Reading Plans – Churches can choose from the LSB Daily Reading Bible plan and the Robert Murray M’Cheyne Bible reading plans to encourage their members to read the Bible through the year together. Churches will be able to integrate these daily readings onto their websites and blogs. And don’t forget, the LSB Daily Reading Bible is currently available in carton discounts here.

3. The LSB Audio Bible – Initially to be released as a beta test with the LSB Daily

 Reading plan, will allow readers to listen to the whole Bible while in the car, doing chores, or at the gym. It is a blessing to be able to meditate on the Word of God almost anywhere we go.

There are substantial costs tied to the LSB Digital Initiative for both programming of content and ongoing maintenance, especially associated with the development of the LSB Audio Bible.Our prayer is for the people of God to love the Word of God deeply—to read it, hear it, and live by it daily.
