Jesus’ words in John 13-17 are one of the most beloved portions of the Word of God. In them we get an intimate look at Christ with His twelve disciples in the final hours before His death. These words are recorded only in John’s Gospel. In fact, 92% of the subject matter in John’s Gospel isn’t found in the other three Gospels, which makes the Gospel of John quite different. In these chapters, you will find not only great encouragement but also great motivation for living in holiness. If you have a desire to know the Lord in a more intimate way, and if you will study with an open heart and mind, with a view to applying what you learn, you will grow to be more in love with the Savior when you have finished than when you started!
